Suriya Reportedly Not A Part Of Trivikram’s Movie Anymore

Suriya Sivakumar, who was all set to team up with Tollywood director Trivikram Srinivas, has reportedly walked out of the film. While there has been no confirmation from either sides, Telugu news reports suggest that he has opted out of the project. The project had been shelved since last year, with an intention of going on floors from mid-2017 onwards.

The bilingual (Tamil and Telugu) project was reportedly a family entertainer with two female leads. Announced last year, it was expected to be bankrolled by S Radhakrishna under his banner on a whopping budget of Rs 100 crores. But it was put on hold for a while with reports suggesting that the actor was skeptical about the film since his last bilingual – 24 – did not do well at the box-office. Released in April last year, the Telugu version was a big hit while the Tamil version failed to do well.

Currently, Srinivas has three films lined up – one with Pawan Kalyan, one with Junior NTR and one with Mahesh Babu. Meanwhile, Suriya has been vociferously promoting the action-entertainer Si 3i, which releases on 9 February.
