Actor Suriya has signed director Ranjith’s next film after Madras. He will begin shooting for the movie after he finishes his existing commitments that include films with Venkat Prabhu, Vikram Kumar and Hari.
A source close to the actor, while confirming this, also indicated to Silverscreen that he plans to produce the movie under his own banner. The movie will be a love story, and except for music director Santhosh Narayanan, the rest of the cast and crew have not been finalised yet.
The actor is currently busy with Venkat Prabhu’s Masss, his first horror film. Mass has Nayanthara and Amy Jackson playing the female leads.
