Director Vignesh Shivan’s third movie, starring Suriya, has been titled Thaana Serntha Kootam (TSK). According to reports, the movie is an adaptation of the Bollywood film Special 26, which stars Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, and Kajal Aggarwal.

However, a source close to the film told the Deccan Chronicle that even if TSK is an adaption of Special 26, it cannot be called a remake. “The core plot of Special 26 has been adapted, and the makers have made a lot of changes in Suriya’s characterisation. He plays a CBI officer in the movie and the present schedule involves a lot of character artistes,” the source said.
The shooting schedule for the movie is going on in Koyambedu, Chennai and is expected to be completed in a couple of days. The film stars Keerthi Suresh, Suresh Menon, Senthil and Ramya Krishnan. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music. The film also has cinematography by Dinesh Krishna and editing by Sreekar Prasad.
