Shooting for Taana, Siva Karthikeyan’s upcoming film, is scheduled to commence again on May 7 after a four-day break. The movie has already completed twelve days of shoot in Chennai, a source close to the project said.
Directed by Durai Senthilkumar (with whom the actor had earlier worked with in Ethir Neechal), the flick features Sri Divya as the female lead. Writer Pattukotai Prabhakar has penned the screenplay while Anirudh has composed five songs for the movie; two of which, we hear, will be shot abroad.
As for Siva Karthikeyan, he plays a cop in film. What makes it more interesting is the fact that the actor’s deceased father was a cop in real life – a superintendent of prisons.
Taana will be wrapped up by June or July; and is slated to release in September.
