The trailer begins with a voiceover about the definition of Taish as all characters appear to reunite for an upcoming wedding.

The film is written and directed by Nambiar and stars Harshvardhan Rane, Jim Sarbh, Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat in pivotal roles. The cast also includes Sanjeeda Sheikh, Abhimanyu Singh, Zoa Morani, and Saloni Batra, in prominent roles.

The film has been billed as revenge drama series. The story is about an incident that ignites a storm between two families. While the official teaser was released earlier this week, the first look of the film was released last month. The film’s shooting was kicked off more than a year ago and was completed a few months ago. Initially slated for a theatrical release, it was stalled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Rane was last seen in Telugu action thriller Kavacham (2018). He is filming for his fourth Hindi film titled Haseen Dillruba.
Last seen in Pagalpanti, Kharbanda has Tamil travel-based romantic drama Vaan, a directorial debut by RA Karthik and 14 Phere, opposite Vikrant Massey in the pipeline.
Samrat was last seen in action-comedy film Pagalpanti (2019). The post-production of his latest project Haathi Mere Saathi is ongoing. It is a Hindi remake of Prabhu Solomon-directed Kaadan featuring Rana Daggubati.
Sarbh’s upcoming projects includes Netflix original Yeh Ballet, written and directed by Sooni Taraporevala and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur.
