Tamizh Padam 2.0 Poster Out
The poster for the sequel of CS Amudhan’s Tamizh Padam is out. It was released by actor Siddharth. The film will reportedly release in May next year.
The first film that released in 2010 was a parody of Tamil cinema and was a box-office hit. Shiva will be reprising his role from the first film in the franchise.
The poster takes a dig at the issue of piracy and says that the Tamil Rockers is the ‘official piracy partner’.
Tamil Rockers – a site that routinely leaks pirated versions of new releases on the same day – has been at loggerheads with several members of the TFPC for a while.

IMDb Lists Shah Rukh Khan As Number 1 Star Of Indian Cinema

Film database website IMDb has released the top 10 stars of Indian cinema. The list includes the usual suspects like Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan with Shah Rukh Khan leading the race. He is described as “Celebrating 25 years in Hindi Cinema, Shah Rukh Khan rules over the hearts of IMDb users worldwide as the #1 star in an Indian Movie this year.” Two other Khans, Salmaan and Aamir, follow SRK. The Baahubali stars Anushka Shetty, Prabhas, Tamannaah Bhatia are on the list, Rana Daggubati is curiously missing. Irrfan Khan too finds a mention.
Wonder Woman Gal Gadot is listed as the number one star internationally and the most watched trailer is Get Out.
Reason Behind Postponement Of 2.0
Reports suggest that the reason why the release of 2.0, starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, was postponed from January to April was the VFX company had defaulted and failed to deliver on time. The production company had to find another VFX company to do the work. Lyca Productions is reportedly planning legal action.
