Telugu TV actors Bhargavi and Anusha Reddy died in a car crash in Telangana’s Vikarabad district on Wednesday. They were reportedly returning to Hyderabad after completing shoot for the day when their car rammed into a tree on the roadside. Bhargavi reportedly died on the spot, while Anusha Reddy was taken to the government-run Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad where she succumbed to the injuries soon after. Chakri, the driver of the car, and Vinay Kumar, their co-traveller survived the accident with injuries and are admitted in the hospital currently.
According to various reports, the police have said that the driver of the car was trying to avoid collision with a truck which was coming from the opposite side. In the process, his car hit a tree near Appareddy Guda bus stop in Chevella, in the early hours of Wednesday. The two actors had travelled to Ananthagiri forests with the rest of the team, where the shoot had been scheduled. The police are investigating the matter further.

According to a report by Times of India, Bhargavi was 20-years-old. She was a resident of Nirmal district in Telangana. Anusha Reddy, who was 21, was an aspiring actor based in Jayashankar Bhupalapally. Bhargavi was best known for her role in the show Mutyala Muggu which aired on Zee Telugu TV, and online on Zee5 regularly.
Mutyala Muggu is a popular TV show with one of the highest TRP ratings in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The serial revolves around the character of Devyani who plays the eldest of four siblings in a family. They are brought up by a single mother, the story revolves around the problems they face. Bhargavi became popular for her role as the antagonist character Nandhika’s friend.
