The shooting of Ajithkumar’s untitled film, Thala 56, has been progressing at a brisk pace. The crew was supposed to fly to Dubai to can a few important scenes and stunt sequences, however, the UAE government refused clearance stating that the filming may prove to be a hindrance to people observing fast and visiting mosques during the month of Ramadan.
The crew has been working hard to complete the movie in time for Deepavali. Hence, producer AM Rathnam quickly zeroed in on Italy as an alternative and the crew has left for the country, intending to complete the schedule in two weeks.
Thala 56 has Ajith, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon in the lead, alongside Ashwin Kakamanu, Kabir Singh and Soori in supporting roles. Composer Anirudh Ravichander is composing music.
