Producer AM Rathnam, who is bankrolling actor Ajith’s upcoming film tentatively titled Thala 56, has told Deccan Chronicle that the entire team is working hard to complete the movie for release on Deepavali. He also added that the movie is a proper commercial entertainer which has elements of humor, action, romance and sentiment.

The first schedule of the movie with actors Ajith, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon was shot in and around the city. The second schedule is expected to begin soon and it was reported that the team might travel to Kolkata to shoot some important sequences. AM Rathnam has also confirmed that the team might head abroad to can a song sequence.
Directed by Siva of Veeram fame, this film has composer Anirudh Ravichander handling the music department. Actor Soori will be seen in a supporting role in this yet-to-be titled film.
