Lyricist Thamarai has filed a complaint with the Commissioner of Police alleging harassment by ‘unknown offenders’ who have been sending vulgar messages via social networking sites and phone calls. The lyricist announced the decision on Facebook to approach the police for help as she has been facing the problem for quite sometime now.
Thamarai attributed the problem to the protest that she made against her husband, Thiyagu, a few months ago. She added, “In the eyes of the society, I am a single mother; which is the reason behind this harassment.
Thamarai has sought protection from the police for herself and her son.
