The Tamil remake of Thattathin Marayathu will be filmed in Pollachi from this week. This version has Mithran Jawahar at the helm with Isha Talwar reprising her role from the Malayalam original. Vidyullekha Raman plays a supporting role in the movie which has newcomer Walter in the lead role. Sources say that Nivin Pauly, who had essayed the lead in the original, was approached initially but the idea was later abandoned. Vishnu Sharma has been roped in to handle the camera work while Thiagarajan takes care of the editing. GV Prakash Kumar will compose the soundtrack.
Interestingly, the same film is being remade in Telugu as Saheba Subramanyam.
