The Fakir of Venice, starring Farhan Akhtar, will finally release after nine years. The film was supposed to be Akhtar’s acting debut but was stalled as it had no definite plan. According to a Hindustan Times report, the film was supposed to have been released before Rock On!! (2008).
“It is now being revived and a release date is planned (March 10),” a source is quoted in a report. However, this is yet to be confirmed by the team.
Directed by Anand Surapur, who produced Quick Gun Murugun (2009), the film is about two conmen who are hired to find a poor person from India for an art project in Venice. The film also stars veteran actor Anu Kapoor. The film’s first look was tweeted recently too.
