After Taana, actor Sivakarthikeyan will be next seen in director Ponram’s movie. The film will be produced by N Lingusamy and N Subhash Chandra Bose for Thirrupathi Brothers. Tentatively titled Rajini Murugan, the movie might star actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead. Actresses Nazriya Nazim and Sri Divya were in the running as well, but the makers finally decided on Samantha. D Imman is scoring music while Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam cinematographer Balasubramaniem is panning the camera.
In other news, there is talk that Taana might get a name change. The makers are reportedly considering changing the title to Kaakhi Sattai.
