The comedy caper Thirudan Police is tentatively scheduled for release on September 19. Starring Attakathi Dinesh and Ishwarya Rajesh, it is Dinesh’s first “truly commercial” film and is said to have a lot of ‘mass’ elements. Vijay Sethupathi adds his star power to the project by appearing in an item song and a couple of scenes. Also, Mottai Rajendhiran will be seen in drag for a rib-tickling comic track in the movie. The film is directed by newbie Caarthick Raaju and is produced by SPB Charan.
Thirudan Police features Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music, and the soundtrack was launched recently at Sathyam Cinemas. According to the film’s publicist, the film is yet to be censored and the official release date will be announced soon.
