Susi Ganesan’s Thiruttu Payale 2‘s first look was revealed on Thursday, featuring the lead actors — Bobby Simha and Amala Paul — engaged in a rather sensuous pose in the rains. The film is being billed as an erotic thriller and a sequel to the first film Thiruttu Payale that released in 2006.

The first film, also directed by Ganesan, had Jeevan and Sonia Aggarwal in the lead. The film was about a how a con man named Manickam (Jeevan) falls in love with Rosy (Sonia) while at the same time blackmailing a married woman named Roopini (Malavika) about her affair. A game of cat and mouse assumes wherein both the parties blackmail each other, especially when the intent was to keep the affair under wraps. The film’s music was by Bharathwaj and went on to become a commercial hit, becoming the third highest grossing Tamil film in 2006.
Thiruttu Payale 2, apart from its lead cast, has Prasanna and Sanam Shetty, too, with Vivekh and Robo Shankar in supporting roles. Vidyasagar is the composer for this one, and the film is being bankrolled by AGS Entertainment.
