Tiger Zinda Hai, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, is expected to cross the Rs 200 crore mark even though the official numbers aren’t out yet. Reports suggest that the film, released exactly a week ago, has earned Rs 173.07 crores in India alone, as of Thursday. The numbers are set to escalate by Friday, likely to surpass the film’s prequel Ek Tha Tiger‘s overall earning Rs 198.78 crores.

Tiger Zinda Hai had opened to a massive Rs 33.75 crores in India. It managed to do better abroad, minting Rs 1.01 crore on the day of its release in Australia and Rs 38.54 lakhs in New Zealand. The film went beyond the Rs 100 crore mark early this week.
Soon enough, the collective earning of the film in the UK, Australia and New Zealand early this week were Rs 6.55 crore, Rs 4.7 crore, and Rs 1.96 crore, respectively.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zaffar, the film has the formidable spy couple in a mission to save 25 Indian nurses trapped in Iraq.
