Tollywood Comedian Prudhvi Charged In Cheating And Harassment Case; Case Withdrawn Later

The Hyderabad police registered a cheating and harassment case against famous Tollywood comedian Balireddy Prudhviraj popularly known as Prudhvi, on Sunday. The complaint was from his alleged wife, Kavitha. She later submitted a petition to withdraw the case.

In her complaint, K Kavitha claimed that she first met Prithviraj in 2010 when she was trying to land a job as a junior artist in Tollywood. She then worked at Prudhvi’s office and married him later that year in a temple ceremony after he allegedly ‘lured her with luxuries’. Since then, the woman and her two children from a previous marriage were under his care, and they lived in a rented flat in Banjara Hills. The woman then claimed that she discovered Prudhvi’s affair with another woman.
