All that it took Trisha to give her consent to upcoming horror flick Nayaki was five minutes. “She stopped me five minutes after I started narrating. She said she loved the script and she’ll do the film,” director Govi told Silverscreen.

For the first time in her career, Trisha plays a dual role and will also put her singing ability to test as she gears up to croon the promo song of the film. Also starring Ganesh Venkatraman, the film features Trisha in the role of a 20-year old.
The team plans to wrap up shooting by November and plans to release the film in December or early next year. The film has music by Raghu Kunche and is produced by Trisha’s long-time personal manager Giridhar.
