TV actress Yashika was found dead in her house in Chennai on Wednesday. She had committed suicide by hanging herself. Reports say that relationship failure is the reason behind the actor’s suicide. This has also been confirmed with the aid of a WhatsApp message which the actress sent to her mother before her death.
Yashika, originally from Tirupur, acted in a small role in the Tamil film Mannar Vagaiyara, starring Vimal. She also acted in a number of popular TV serials. Yashika was living in a hostel in Vadapalani when she met Aravind alias Mohan Babu, who was then working in a cellphone service firm. Four months ago, the couple had decided to live together and moved in to a house in Peravallur.
A source told Times Now that Mohan Babu returned to his home in the city due to a fight between the two which blew up. In the WhatsApp message she sent to her mother, she said her partner not only refused to marry her, but was also torturing her. She asked her mother to ensure that the man was punished. She said, “For having ditched me without marrying and for having tortured me, you must get him punished severely after I commit suicide.”
