Actor and producer Udhayanidhi Stalin has lodged a complaint against Kajal Aggarwal with the Film Producers’ Council. The actor had paid Kajal an advance of Rs 40 lakhs to act in his upcoming Nanbenda. But due to undisclosed reasons, Nayanthara was signed on instead to play the female lead role opposite Udhay. Speaking to us, he said, “On behalf of Red Giant Movies, I lodged a formal complaint with the Producers’ Council two days ago. I have asked them to intervene and secure the advance for me. I am hoping that they can resolve this issue immediately.”
When contacted for comment, Kajal Aggarwal’s spokesperson said, “Yes, we are aware that a complaint has been made and we are going to begin talks soon to get this over with.”
