The shooting for Howrah Bridge, starring Priyanka Upendra, will start from September 4. Directed by Lohith, this thriller is bankrolled by JSK Film Corporation. Priyanka and Upendra’s daughter, Aishwarya, also will be a part of this bilingual, which is set in Kolkata.

Producer Satish told Silverscreen, “The entire film will be shot in a month-long schedule in Kolkata, starting from September 4. The story revolves around the insecurities of a single mother and how Kolkata, the city, impacts her life forms the crux. Priyanka will portray the role of a single mother and Aishwarya will play her daughter.”
Women-oriented films like Taramani, Aarohanam and Andava Kanom are produced by JSK Films. Satish believes that the content is the hero of the film. He says, “I really don’t go behind heroes to make big budget films. I have so far produced only content-driven films that have strong female leads. Howrah Bridge is also one such women-oriented film.”
