Pawan Kalyan In Chennai At The Jana Sena Party Meet

Actor Pawan Kalyan celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, September 2, and fans of the star were exhilarated owing to the unveiling of various posters of three of his upcoming films – Vakeel SaabPSPK27, and PSPK28 and an announcement poster of PSPK29. While the ritual birthday common DP, birthday tags, and poster and video tributes began a few weeks back, the celebration on social media was higher with the launch of the posters.

The first poster to drop was the motion poster of Vakeel Saab in the morning. Helmed by Sriram Venu, the film is being jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju, Shirish, and Harshith Reddy under their Sri Venkateswara Creations banner and by Boney Kapoor under his Bay View Projects banner. It is the official Telugu remake of the Hindi film Pink and Pawan will reprise the role of Amitabh Bachchan in it.

With the photos of Gandhi ji and Ambedkar on either side, stands an intense lawyer Pawan Kalyan in the centre with a baseball stick in one hand and a ‘Criminal Law’ book on the other. He’s got his right leg on a stool and papers comprising IPC sections flying about. We find shelves of files, papers, and folders in the backdrop with the ‘Satyameva Jayate’ background score.

Speaking on the occasion, the producers said, “We are happy to release a motion poster on the occasion of Powerstar’s birthday. Pawan Kalyan is going to appear in the role of a powerful lawyer as his fans and moviegoers want. We will complete the rest of the shooting and bring the film to the audience as soon as possible after the situation clears up a bit.”

Along with Pawan, stars Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Ananya Nagalla in important roles. On the technical front, S Thaman is on the music, PS Vinod is on cinematography, Rajeevan is on art, and Prawin Pudi on edit. Dialogues have been penned by Thiru, and lyrics are by Ramajogaiah Sastry. Ravi Verma is behind the action sequences. Pradeep Pudi has designed the motion poster.

Following that was the announcement poster of the actor’s 29th untitled, tentatively titled PSPK29. While the buzz was already out, the official confirmation came from Ram Talluri’s SRT Entertainments only on the actor’s birthday. They revealed that the actor would be teaming up with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy director Surender Reddy for the film while wishing him for his birthday.

In the afternoon, the pre-look poster of PSPK27 dropped. Helmed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film is being bankrolled by AM Ratnam’s Mega Surya Production.

The poster features the right side of Pawan’s body where he is found donning a green outfit. His hand seems to be adorned with golden rings and a Kada along with an eagle charm pinned to a red cloth tied around his waist which extends around his neck. The poster gives off the impression that he’s a warrior and that the film is most likely a period drama.

Krish had written on his Twitter handle along with the poster that the team had a memorable 15-day shooting experience and that success is visible to the eye. He also thanked the star for his encouragement and kindness.

While there is no official announcement about the cast, rumour has it that talents from several industries have been roped in for the multilingual. Jacqueline Fernandez will reportedly play the female lead with Arjun Rampal as the antagonist. The film has also reportedly been titled ‘Virupaksha’, the announcement of which is awaited.

On the technical front, MM Keeravani is on the music, Gnana Shekar VS on the camera, and Rajeevan on art. Sai Madhav Burra is penning dialogues with Ram-Laxman on the stunt.

In the evening, the concept poster of PSPK28 dropped. Helmed by his Gabbar Singh director Harish Shankar S, the film is being bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili’s Mythri Movie Makers. The film marks the second association between the director and actor.

The concept poster features the India Gate with the pictures of Subhash Chandra Bose and Sardar Vallabhai Patel on it. At the foot of the gate, we find a stylish orange motorcycle parked with a rose and a book named ‘Pedda Bala Sikha’ on the seat. The poster also reads, ‘This Time It’s Not Just Entertainment’. Seems like the film is a perfect mix of politics, romance, and entertainment.

While the cast has not been revealed as yet, on the technical front, Ayananka Bose is handling cinematography with Devi Sri Prasad on music. Ram-Laxman is choreographing the stunt for the film.
