Following the success of the romantic war-drama Kanche, actor Varun Tej will be working on a romantic comedy sport film with director Gopichand Malineni, according to a Hans India report. Both Varun and actor-father Nagababu listened to the script before agreeing to the project. The pre-production work on the film is currently underway. Produced by Nallamalupu Bujji and Tagore Madhu, the film will go on floors this December. Varun Tej is currently touring Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to celebrate Kanche’s success. He is also awaiting the release of his film with Puri Jagannadh, provisionally titled Loafer.
