Velayilla Pattathari is gearing up for its July 18 release – it will be censored this week. The movie stars Dhanush and Amala Paul in the lead alongside Samuthirakani, Saranya Ponvannan and Vivekh among others. Newbie actor Amitash Pradhan debuts in the film and will essay a role with negative shades. A source close to the movie tells us that the film has become a hugely profitable one for actor Dhanush, who is producing it under his Wunderbar Films. The TV rights have been sold to a private channel for a huge sum and the movie has already sold out in all areas in Tamil Nadu. The Hindi dubbing rights for the film also seems to be in great demand, especially with Dhanush’s success with Raanjhanaa and his upcoming Shamitabh.
