Amazon Prime Video on Friday announced that Vicky Kaushal’s Sardar Udham and Emraan Hashmi-starrer Dybbuk are part of its upcoming festival line-up.
Apart from these two, the streaming platform will also release two Tamil films and one Malayalam film, as well as a stand-up comedy special.
The first of these to premiere on the platform will be Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Bhramam. Directed by Ravi K Chandran, the film is a remake of the 2018 Hindi hit Andhadhun, which starred Ayushmann Khurrana.
Post the release of Bhramam, the next title to arrive on Amazon Prime Video will be Sardar Udham. The Vicky Kaushal-starrer is a biopic based on the life of revolutionary freedom fighter Sardar Udham, known for avenging the death of his brethren who were brutally killed in the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar.
Emraan Hashmi’s supernatural horror movie Dybbuk, an official remake of the hit Malayalam film Ezra, is next in line after Sardar Udham.
The streaming platform will also release the second edition of One Mic Stand, featuring a line-up of budding guest comics.
Aside from these, the Tamil family drama Udanpirappe, a story of the reunion of estranged siblings played by Sasikumar and Jyothika, is also part of the festival line-up. As is Jai Bhim, the Tamil murder mystery starring Suriya.
