Vidyullekha Raman in Masss

The latest star to join Venkat Prabhu’s Masss is actress Vidyullekha Raman. The young actress debuted in Tamil cinema with Gautham Menon’s Neethaane En Ponvasantham. Vidyu, who aspires to “establish herself as a comedienne in Kollywood”, created a laugh-riot with her performance in Neethaane En Ponvasantham and was applauded in Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru as well. She revealed that 2014 is a memorable year for her as she worked with Ajith in Veeram and Vijay in Jilla. Now, the actress is more delighted about the prospect of acting with Suriya in Masss. An ecstatic Vidyullekha tweeted, “First day of shoot in #Masss and my first dialogue is to Suriya. Can’t believe it. Nadikamudile!”

Actor Suriya was my first crush, she said. “Since school days, I have been fond of Suriya. He was also my inspiration. I’m elated to share screen space with him.” Vidyu dons the role of a nurse and Suriya’s friend in Masss. “It’s a funny role and my character helps Suriya woo Nayanthara,” revealed the actress, who will also be seen as a nurse in Sivakarthikeyan’s next, unofficially titled Taana.

For Vidyullekha, working with Venkat Prabhu and Premgi Amaran is like partying. “Venkat Prabhu is a light-hearted guy. I’m having a blast with the entire team,” she said.
