Actor Suriya will team up with Naanum Rowdy Dhaan director Vignesh Shivan for a new film. This project will mark Suriya’s 35th film and will be produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under his Studio Green banner. Anirudh Ravichander has been signed on to compose the songs. Reports indicate that this film might be a bi-lingual, like Suriya’s 24, 7am Arivu.

Following the success of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, Vignesh Shivan was said to be working on Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, starring Vijay Sethupathi. Actresses Nayanthara and Trisha Krishnan had reportedly been signed on for the lead roles. With the announcement of Suriya 35 though, it is likely that the film has been put on hold.
