Director Atlee and team is working round the clock shooting for their upcoming film which is tentatively titled Vijay 59. The shooting is currently underway in huge sets that has been erected on the East Coast Road. A known source has confirmed that the team will move to Goa for their second schedule and then to China for their third schedule which is expected to go on for 25 days.

Actress Samantha and Radhika Sarath Kumar who are a part of the team have completed their portions in the first schedule. Also, it has been reported that music director GV Prakash has completed the album for the movie as well.
Vijay 59 pooja was held in a grand manner in Kerala house on East Coast Road. Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, this movie deatures Vijay, Samantha and Amy Jackson in the central roles while Prabhu, Radhika Sarath Kumar and Sunainaa are a part of the supporting cast.
