Vijay Sethupathi, Gayathrie and Varalaxi Sarathkumar will headline a rally this weekend, aimed at promoting awareness about muscular dystrophy. The event has been organised by Jeevan Foundation, a popular NGO in the city. A spokesperson for the NGO told us that the presence of stars will give the event a bigger reach. “We hope to educate people about this condition and make them aware that normal life is possible for those affected by it. ”
The rally will start in Marina Beach at 7 AM this Sunday. Many other celebrities are expected to be a part of this event.
