Actor Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming film with Trisha Krishnan has been titled 96. Directed by Prem Kumar, the cinematographer of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, the film is a light-hearted entertainer.

According to a source, the film is still in pre-production, and will go on the floors in mid-2017. Both the film’s leads – Vijay and Trisha, are currently occupied with other projects, and have allotted dates for Prem’s film in June.
Vijay Sethupathi is currently filming Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s Aneethi Kathaigal. Trisha, on the other hand, is busy with Mohini.
This is Vijay Sethupathi’s second project with Prem. They earlier collaborated for Balaji Dharaneedharan’s amnesia comedy NKPK, that established Sethupathi’s career as a solo male lead.
