Director Vijay has confirmed that he will be directing actor Jayam Ravi in the near future. Vijay is currently working on the script and expects to begin shooting by April 2016. The director also added that he will be working on a different film, which will go on floors in December 2015. After completing this project, Vijay expects to begin work on his film with Jayam Ravi.
Vijay’s last film, Idhu Enna Maayam, was not a commercial success. He subsequently co-produced editor Antony’s debut directorial, Oru Naal Iravil, a Tamil remake of the 2012 Malayalam film Shutter. Oru Naal Iravil is scheduled to release on November 20.
