Actor Vijay’s next film, Theri, will feature his daughter Divya Sasha playing his on-screen daughter. According to sources, Baby Nainika (Meena’s daughter) has the major parts, but Divya will appear as Nainika’s older version. Directed by Atlee, the film describes twenty years (25-45) of the life of an upright police officer, Vijaykumar. Amy Jackson plays a teacher, who will teach Divya Sasha in some scenes in the film. Samantha plays Vijay’s wife. Shooting for the film recently completed in Ladakh.
Theri is scheduled to release on April 14. The post-production work is currently underway. Produced by V Creations, the film’s music has been scored by GV Prakash.
