Actor Vikram Prabhu’s village drama with director Ezhil has been titled Vellaikara Dorai. The movie will see Vikram sport a rustic look similar to his role in Kumki. Pencil actress Sri Divya plays the love interest while veteran artiste MS Bhaskar will essay the role of Vikram’s father. Ezhil’s movies are known for their tongue-in-cheek humour and emotionally-charged storylines and this movie will reportedly be along the same lines.
The movie was launched on April 14 at Vikram Prabhu’s residence and will go on floors soon. Meanwhile, Vikram’s Arima Nambi with Anand Shankar is gearing up for release and will hit screens by the end of this month.
