Filmmaker VV Vinayak says there was nothing more challenging than presenting debutant actor Akhil in the right way in his debut film Akhil, which releases worldwide on Tuesday. Akhil is Nagarjuna’s second son. Speaking to Hans India, Vinayak said: “When Nagarjuna entrusted me with the reins to launch Akhil, the only thing he expected from me was to present his son in a way that would make fans welcome him wholeheartedly.” Akhil’s release was delayed by almost two weeks. Refuting rumours that the film is a fantasy drama, Vinayak said it’s a commercial entertainer with a mix of different genre elements.
