Actor Vinu Chakravarthy has been hospitalized in a private hospital in Vadapalani after he fainted at his residence. According to sources, he is believed to be in coma and is being treated at the intensive care unit (ICU). The doctors have stated that he is still in critical condition. The actor has been a diabetic with high blood pressure for several years.
70-year old Vinu Chakravarthy was responsible for introducing several artists to Kollywood, including actress Silk Smitha. He is well-known for his work in the Tamil and Malayalam industry.
