Vishal has secured the rights to distribute Jeeva. Directed by Suseenthiran and produced by his ‘close friend’ Arya, the actor told us that it was not ‘a natural course of action by any means’. “Jeeva is a quality film, and I have a lot of faith in it. I have come onboard to distribute it because I believe in it. Not because my friends are involved in it.” The movie was wrapped up only recently and some of the songs were telecast live on a private channel last week.
Starring Vishnu Vishal and Sri Divya in the lead, the film is a coming-of-age story and will see Vishnu playing a cricketer. Major portions of the film were shot in a college in Chennai by cinematographer R Madhi. Interestingly, Pandiraj has written the dialogues for the film in association with Suseenthiran. The release date has not been set yet and will be announced soon by Vishal.
