Kollywood actor Vishal is all set to make his long-awaited Telugu debut with director Sriwass’ film. The film will be bilingual, says a Deccan Chronicle report and the shooting of the film will start soon. “Sriwass narrated a story to Vishal and the actor felt that it catered to both Tamil and Telugu audiences. Hence he accepted it immediately,” DC quoted a source from the film’s unit. An official announcement is yet to arrive. Sriwass has previously directed films like Loukyam (2014) and Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Dictator (2016)
Vishal Krishna Reddy comes from a Telugu family and the dubbed versions of his films such as Sandakozhi, Thamirabarani and Pandiyanaadu were received well by the Telugu audience establishing him as a known actor in the Telugu film industry. The actor also actively participates in promotions for these dubbed releases and has expressed his interest in doing a Telugu film. Presently he is shooting for director Mysskin’s Thupparivaalan.
