Vishal looks to have a number of releases this year. His Kathakali was released on Pongal. He has two releases, Marudhu and his long delayed Madha Gaja Raja, lined up for release in May.

The actor’s film with director Suraaj, titled Kaththi Sandai, was launched on Monday, and the shooting is scheduled to begin soon. The team looks to complete the film by August, following which Vishal will start working on Thupparivaalan with director Mysskin.
Kaththi Sandai, produced by S.Nandakumar of Madras Entertainment, will see Vadivelu making his comeback as lead comedian. Soori will also be a part of the film, and Tamannaah has been signed on to play the female lead. Hip Hop Aadhi will be scoring the tunes.
