Actor Ajith’s Vivegam was initially set for a Ramzan release in 2017. Latest reports suggest that the film’s makers have now decided to postpone the release.
According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Vivegam will now release in August this year. “Since the Sivakarthikeyan–Nayanthara starrer Velaikkaran is releasing on August 25, Vivegam team might consider releasing on August 10. Also, it all depends on the completion of post-production work.”

The last schedule of Vivegam will begin in Bulgaria in the second week of March. Following this, the team will begin post-production work. The team behind this Ajith – Siva film also plan to mount a vigorous promotional campaign for the project.

Vivegam has Ajith in the role of an investigation officer while Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead. The movie will also see Akshara Hassan in a pivotal role. Bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films, the film’s music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
