That Union Minister Smriti Irani shares a close bond with Ekta Kapoor is a known fact. It was Balaji Telefilms television serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi that had made the Textile Minister a household name in the country. Though Irani has left acting career for politics, she has remained friends with the producer. Recently, she appeared in ALTBalaji’s promotional video for its new web-series titled Home.
In the video, Irani is seen visiting her childhood home in Gurugram after 35 years. The minister breaks down after realising that her old home has been turned into a laundry shop. She’s also seen walking through the society, meeting the few residents, visiting old ration shops, and the nearby eateries. She is also seen enjoying a rickshaw ride.
With all the love for HOME pouring in the midst of the festive celebrations, there is a heart-warming journey of someone special I want to share with you all @smritiirani
