The dirty spat between Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut does not seem to end. Recently, when Rakesh Roshan was asked about the Hrithik-Kangana fall-out issue and why his son was quiet on the matter, he replied, “Hrithik is different. Even when someone was spreading lies about him, he chose to stay calm and dignified. If he does choose to come out with the truth, it will shock everyone.”
Kangana was the guest at Chetan Bhagat’s book launch in Mumbai and when quizzed about her opinion on Rakesh Roshan’s statement, she was quick to reply, “Why can’t men stand up for themselves? He is a 43- year-old man. I just can’t understand why his father has to come to rescue him from all these small controversies.”
She further added, “For how long will they keep hiding behind their influential big-name fathers? He is an adult and he can pretty much handle his own controversies in show business. It’s just a simple controversy. Why daddies have to always save their sons? I don’t understand this.”

Kangana and Hrithik have acted together in two films, Kites and Krish-3. Reports of their alleged affair cropped up early this year and following public allegations, Hrithik filed a lawsuit against Kangana accusing her of cyber-stalking and harassment. Denying the charges, Ranaut filed a counter-charge against him, claiming that his lawsuit was an attempt to cover-up their affair for the benefit of his divorce proceedings.
Kangana is currently shooting for Rangoon, directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. The film is a period romance drama set during World War II. Hrithik Roshan, on the other hand, is filming for his home production Kaabil, which is set to release on the 26 January next year.
