Yennai Arindhaal might release this year. Some dance sequences and climax portions are pending, and with five weeks of shoot left, the team is working round the clock to ensure that the film hits screens before the end of the year. The team is also on a promotional spree of sorts now – a first look poster is being released every day to whet the appetite of Ajith fans everywhere. A teaser will reportedly be made available on November 20 and the audio will be launched by the first week of December. If all goes well, the film might release around Christmas.
Starring Ajith Kumar as a police officer, Yennai Arindhaal has Gautham Menon at the helm and Dan Macarthur as the cinematographer. AM Rathnam presents the film while Ishwarya S is the producer. Anushka Shetty and Trisha Krishnan play pivotal roles. Harris Jayaraj composes music.
