The trailer of Yogi Babu–Karunakaran starrer Panni Kutty is out now. The film is helmed by Kirumi fame Anu Charan and is being jointly bankrolled by Subaskaran‘s Lyca Productions and Sameer Bharat Ram’s Super Talkies. This is the first time the lead pair will be seen on screen together. Following this, the two will also feature in debutant Dennis’ dark-comedy sci-fi thriller Trip.
Five people — Yogi Babu, Karunakaran, Singampuli, Ramar and ‘Palaya Joke’ Thangadurai are seen setting out on a mission of sorts to get hold of a black coloured pig that is white, according to the crazy instructions of a seer played by Dindigul Leoni for an unknown purpose. They seem to face several issues in the process and even seek redemption for their sins. We are even introduced to the love interests of the lead pair. The trailer ends on a funny note where Singampuli is seen asking for vadais with chutney as offerings for god. The calm yet peppy background score complements the trailer right through.
Actor Madhavan took to Twitter to release the trailer.
