For anyone watching, classy is the word that comes to mind. Complimenting her basic make-up, were matching jhumkas and bangles, adding a neat touch to her casual attire. The trailer of Rudhramadevi released day before yesterday to positive responses.
Speaking to the media, Anushka was effusive in expressing her happiness at being a part of Rudhramadevi team. The Rudhramadevi journey began two and a half years ago. After a few scheduling delays, the film is now ready to release on October 9 in Telugu and October 16 in Tamil. “The beauty of this eventful journey is that the passion with which we started shooting for Rudhramadevi is still the same today. All of us have put hard work into this film and I hope the press and the audience appreciate it.”
Anushka also thanked media, fans, and the team of Rudhramadevi who, she said, had played a vital role ever since the title was announced. As Rudhramadevi releases after Baahubali, expectations on Anushka’s performance are sky high. Rudhramadevi will have a wide release in 2D and a selected release in 3D, which was one of the reasons behind the delayed release.
Rudhramadevi, directed by Gunasekhar, is a historical film set in the 13th century. In Indian history, Rudhramadevi ranks as one of the prominent leaders. The film features Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Allu Arjun, Prakash Raj, Vikramjeet Virk, and Brahmanandam. The film has music composed by Ilaiyaraaja, as wella s cinematographer Ajayan Vincent, and editor Sreekar Prasad.
