The Vogue Beauty Awards held its 7th edition in Mumbai on 27 July. The awards saw known faces from the Bollywood industry such as Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra Karisma Kapoor, Radhika Apte and Mahira Khan bag coveted titles.
Hosted by former Miss India, Sarah Jane Dias along with Vogue India’s editors Priya Tanna and Nidhi-Sharma Punjabi. The Vogue Beauty Awards included 41 categories of products that won awards for upping the ante in innovation and product quality.
Among the ‘Best of Bollywood’ awards, Katrina Kaif won the title of ‘Beauty of the Year’, Ranbir Kapoor was awarded the ‘Most Beautiful Man’ award, Parineeti Chopra was given the ‘Inspiration Icon’ award, Radhika Apte was adjudged the ‘Flawless Face’ award, Karisma Kapoor bagged the title of ‘Ageless Beauty’ and Pakistani actor Mahira Khan was the unanimous choice for the ‘Face to Watch Out For’ award.
The panel of judges included actor Aditi Rao Hydari, model Indrani Dasgupta, entrepreneur Kalyani Chawla, fashion designer Anita Dongre, creative consultant and film producer Shaana Levy–Bahl, Welspun India Pvt. Ltd.’s Dipali Goenka, and TV Host Mini Mathur. Other judges were from the skin-care industry such as skin-care specialist Dr. Harshna Bijlani, make-up authority Mickey Contractor, dermatologist Dr. Malavika Kohli, hairstylist Adhuna Bhabani, and the two editors from Vogue India, Priya Tanna and Nidhi Sharma-Punjabi.
The event was high on glitz and glamour with several notable celebrities in attendance.
