Sporting minimal makeup, by international makeup artiste Donald Simrock whose client list includes popular names like Ashley Judd, Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, Eva Mendes, and Cindy Crawford, Kareena walked the ramp as the showstopper for the second time in the last few months. She ended Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s show during last year’s Lakme’s winter/festive season, flaunting her baby bump.
“It feels amazing. It’s just been day 46 (post delivery) and it feels great. The idea is to do what I have been always loved to do, which is work. It is a part of my DNA, it’s a part of me. It’s never going to change,” she told IANS.
Dongre’s collection was strongly inspired by silhouettes with white-and-gold designs as the theme. The five-day fashion gala began on February 1, hosted over 90 designers including veterans like Tarun Tahiliani, Ritu Kumar, Payal Singhal, Falguni and Shane Peacock and many others. The event was held at the Reliance Jio Garden.
Other guests at the event included Gul Panag, Juhi Chawla, Kajal Aggarwal, Lara Dutta, Pooja Hegde, Diana Penty, Shriya Saran, singer Sona Mohapatra, designer Manish Malhotra, and former actress Sangeeta Bijlani.
