Newly-weds Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput hosted their wedding reception in Mumbai on Sunday. It was attended by all Bollywood biggies – right from Amitabh Bachchan to Alia Bhatt. Shahid wore a three-piece tuxedo designed by his friend Kunal Rawal and his wife Mira Rajput wore a blue and white Manish Malhotra lehenga.
Kangana Ranaut, who will be on screen with Shahid in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon, was seen in a light pink georgette saree, with diamonds to match. Amitabh Bachchan looked regal as always, and we took a liking to his ‘almost neon’ green watch. Sonam Kapoor paired her blue-green Anuradha Vakil anarkali with huge earrings, a big choker, morjaris, and a potli.
Shahid Kapoor’s Shandaar co-star Alia Bhatt was in a simple cream and mauve Manish Malhotra lehenga while Kriti Sanon was spotted in a golden Sonaakshi Raaj dhoti-gown with nude leggings. Preity Zinta though, wore a pink Manish Malhotra saree.
Dia Mirza, accompanied by husband Sahil Sangha, was seen in a peach anarkali suit and Jimmy Choo sandals. Genelia arrived sans husband Riteish, wearing a light Shyamal & Bhumika suit.
