With the trailer receiving more than 8 million views on Amazon Prime Video India’s YouTube channel, Panchayat has been trending over the weekend on IMDB’s #1 amongst the top 10 movies and shows across India.

The series was launched on 3rd April and opened to good reviews from critics. The rustic and feel-good story was applauded for the ensemble cast’s exceptional performances and its light-hearted, delightful take on the many quirks of rural living.
