About the show and the concept, Kani says, “Right from childhood, history has been my favourite subject and I always wanted to share this with the world. Historical content is not a genre that attracts people, and so, I decided to convey my ideas through the storytelling format.”

Oru Oorla Oru Raja are the first words of any story we tell young children. I want to tell people that we must know our history since it enables us to understand the cultural ties and traditional values of the Indian sub-continent. The beauty and uniqueness of our country and how it changed with the coming of the invaders is what this series is about.”

This project gave its creator a lot of apprehensions, but since it has gone online, Kani says she has been inundated with positive feedback and praise for her efforts. She said, “To see the heart-warming response after the completion of two episodes, I am extremely happy and instilled with more confidence to proceed ahead and work harder to bring more content that is engaging and informative.”
