Aishwarya Rajesh, who rose to fame with her role in Kaakka Muttai last year, has now stepped into Bollywood. The actress has been cast opposite Arjun Rampal in Daddy, directed by Ashim Ahluwalia.

Apparently, it was her character in the National Award-winning film Kaaka Muttai which landed her the role. Aishwarya was quoted by the Times of India, “It was a sudden and unexpected offer -I was called for an audition after the makers liked my performance in Kaaka Muttai. I’m told that my character in Daddy, too, is a full-fledged performance-oriented one.”
Aishwarya added that she was excited about working with Arjun Rampal. “I admire him a lot. He is someone who chooses projects that are unusual. I have watched his films, and it is a pleasure to act with him. I shot for two days with him in Mumbai and he is a sweet and warm person. I will join the team again after a week” she said.
